How much do your services cost?

Call-outs are charged from £85 +VAT for the first hour, then £42.50 per half-hour after that, with no call-out fee. Larger jobs like boiler installations are quoted at a fixed price before any work begins. There are no hidden extras — no parking, fuel, ULEZ, or Congestion Charge surcharges. Which areas do you cover?

We cover Greater London and the Home Counties, including Essex, Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire. Check our areas page to find your nearest PrimeFix team.

How quickly can an engineer get to me?

For emergencies, an engineer is typically on site within 1–3 hours, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with no out-of-hours surcharge. For planned work, we'll book a time slot that suits you.

Are your engineers qualified and accredited?

Yes. All PrimeFix engineers hold relevant trade qualifications, including Gas Safe registration, NVQ Levels 2 and 3, and NICEIC approval where applicable. The company is CHAS accredited and SafeContractor approved.

Is your work guaranteed?

Every job is backed by an 18-month workmanship guarantee, an itemised invoice, and a digital report where needed — including insurer-accepted reports for leak detection and trace-and-access claims.
